Banquet a Success
Our 2012 banquet held at the Old Library in Olean was a success,
thanks to co-chairs Bob and Sharon Green. Thanks also to Dominic
DiGirolamo as the emcee, Sue Good and Wade and Sue McClurg
for their help.
The McClurg’s will take over
next year as banquet co-chairs and have tentatively booked
the Old Library for February 2, 2013, but are exploring other
sites. Member input is always welcomed.
The juniors had another successful pancake breakfast at Applebee’s
in Olean in March. So much that they will run another one
in the fall and hope to do two every year. Over 900 tickets
were sold and $86 in tips topped of the morning.
The Six-Man team got their new tournament shirts and they’re
really sharp – check the out!
The juniors will be selling Niagara chocolate bars for $1
as a fund raiser. See any junior to satisfy your sweet tooth.
To coincide with the Federation, the juniors are changing
their age groups to 14 and under and 15-18. This puts them
right in line with the Fed.
Chautauqua Marina will be holding a boater safety course on
May 20 + 21.
The next meeting will be held
on Saturday, April 14th at 10 AM at the Clarion Hotel in Batavia.
