Carey starts off with a win!

Irondequoit Bay, NY, June 27, 2020 - John Carey started off the Southern Tier B/M points trail for 2020 with a 5-fish limit of 12.62 lbs, achored by his biggest bass at 2.90 Lbs. The real big largemouth proved to be illusive for the entire field of 17 anglers but John managed to best the field with his limit of fish.

Following close behind, finishing in second place, was Bob Elliott with a limit of largemouth bass weighing in at 12.16 lbs.

John Carey put a 5-fish limit in the box weighing 19.23 lbs. John reported that he Third place finisher, Charles Prince, brought in a limit of bass that tipped the scales at 11.20 lbs. His limit was anchored by a 2.92 largemouth.

Finishing in fourth place was Jeff Herbert with five fish going 11.10 lbs. His best largemouth weighed 2.81 lbs.

Lunker of the tournament was a 3.32 lb largemouth brought to the scales by Ron Manhart.

While everyone was still trying to get used to the "new normal", all anglers followed safety protocols as best as possible.
