Noel Good runs the river to victory

Niagara Falls, NY, July 27, 2019 - Unlike much of the field that ran out onto Lake Erie, in search of the giant smallmouth that live there, Noel decided to go against the current and spend his day in the Niagara river. It was an excellent choice because he harvested the winning sack of 19.31 lbs with the kicker (lunker of the day) weighing in at 4.71 lbs.

With the win and the 100 points that comes with that, Noel takes the early lead in the AOY race.

Also deciding to stay in the Niagara for the day was second place finisher Ted Barth. He put together a limit of smallmouth that weighed 17.55 lbs. His kicker smallmouth was 4.44 lbs.

Third place went to Tyler McClurg with a limit of smallmouth tipping the scales at 12.45 lbs.

Bob Elliott rounded out the top 4 places with his bag of 4 fish at 11.79 lbs.
