Kilbury takes home the win on Cayuga

Ovid, NY (Dean's Cove), August 31, 2919 - Jeff Kilbury finally got his boat on the water, this season, and starts off the right way by winning the Southern Tier Bassmaster 3rd points tournament on Cayuga lake with a 5-fish limit weighing in at 12.58 lbs. Jeff is no stranger to the winner's circle but found the fishing extremely tough. He was only one of three anglers weighing in a limit of bass.

In second place, with 4 fish tipping the scales at 12.50 lbs., was John Carey. His sack was anchored by a 4.46 lb largemouth bass.

Wade McClurg took the 3rd place spot with 5 fish weighing in at 11.83 lbs. Wade is no stranger to strong finishes on Cayuga.

Finishing 4th with only three fish, but the right ones, was Garrett Stuckey. He weighed 11.73 lbs anchored by the tournament lunker of 5.80 lbs. Just imagine what two more fish could have done for that sack.

So, the AOY race has tightened to within 1 point between first and second place. Seems that's usually the case and it comes down to our final event on Conesus lake, September 14th. It will certainly be interesting!
