have been lunker had it not been for penalties. Kate's final
weight, after penalties was 14.30 lbs.
Kate reported her primary pattern was
dead-sticking a Senko-style bait, wacky rigged. She said her
biggest bass would pick it off the bottom after the bait set
there a bit.
Wade McClurg weighed a 5-bass limit
for 14.22 lbs. and took 2nd place by only a .08 lb. difference.
Wade's larges bass weighed 4.18 lb.
Finishing in 3rd place was John Cary
with 5 fish weighing 13.16 lbs. With his finish, John has
taken a 3 point lead in the AOY race.
Rounding out the top 4 finishes was
Noel Good with his limit weighing in at 12.90 lbs.
The tournament lunker was a 4.82 lb.
