Jeff Kilbury returns to the winner's circle at Canandaigua

Woodville , NY , August 5, 2017 - No stranger to the winner's circle, Jeff Kilbury topped 19 other anglers at a blustery Canandaigua Lake.

After the passage of a major cold front the night before, dropping daytime highs from the low 80's to the upper 60's and a stiff wind, anglers were unsure of how the day would play out.

While some struggled to find something, anything,

Jeff put together a 5-fish sack weighing in at 13.60 lbs, anchored by the tournament lunker of 4.24 lbs.

Although Jeff had practiced on the lake, he fished the current conditions and not what he had found in practice. He found his keeper fish in about 4 foot of water tricking them with a Senko and a chatterbait. Nicely done!

In second place with a 5-fish limit, weighing 12.61 lbs. is former winner on this lake, Bob Elliott. He had a 3.76 lb. kicker.

Noel Good took the 3rd place spot with 5 fish weighing in at 12.05 lbs. His biggest fish was 3.53 lbs.

Rounding out the topp four places was John Carey also with a limit tipping the scales at 11.76 lbs. John is now holding a 1 point lead over Jeff in the AOY race with one event left on Cayuga Lake, Sept. 9th.

Fasten your seatbelts folks! This one is going down to the wire!!
